For Halloween, everybody wears a costume at Forest City Swing! This year, my friends and I dressed up as girl’s from the 1940s (more or less). My sister made all of these skirts and dresses. It was fun! =D
A couple weeks ago after church, several girlfriends were at my house. Dad and my brother weren’t home, so it was just my mom and all us girls for the whole afternoon. We went to an estate sale in the neighborhood that had lots of old clothes and hats. Both Abby and I bought some vintage hats and gloves. When we came back to the house, we all decided to dress up 1940’s style and take pictures as if we were really teenagers from the past. Ally and I own a lot of swing-era skirts and dresses, so we had enough to outfit everyone. I have to admit, we looked pretty sweet!
