Old Photos, New Fun

A couple weeks ago after church, several girlfriends were at my house. Dad and my brother weren’t home, so it was just my mom and all us girls for the whole afternoon. We went to an estate sale in the neighborhood that had lots of old clothes and hats. Both Abby and I bought some vintage hats and gloves. When we came back to the house, we all decided to dress up 1940’s style and take pictures as if we were really teenagers from the past. Ally and I own a lot of swing-era skirts and dresses, so we had enough to outfit everyone. I have to admit, we looked pretty sweet!

Camping Trip

In June my family and our friends and I went camping at Bluemound State Park in Wisconsin! I have never camped before! Well, I have “camped” in my backyard, but that isn’t really camping. It was so fun!! =) Although it was cold at night and it rained in the morning while we were trying to make breakfast over the fire, we had a great time. We also went to Devil’s Lake. That is a beautiful lake with cliffs on all sides! We climbed all the cliffs and hiked around the whole lake!!!! It was a blast!!!! Here are some pictures.

St. Louis Trip

This spring my family and I took a trip to St. Louis. We visited a lot of our old friends. Here are some pictures of the trip.

This is the farm we went to. (the farm belongs to family that we stayed with.) We climbed the 15 foot hey loft! it was a lot of fun!
