What’s in a Name?

IMG_0034Some snap shots of the band. Joey and I decided to audition for the Youth Charity Jam here in Rockford. That means we have to get busy and with the wedding closing in, I’m swamped. We’re getting it all done, though. Interestingly, the hardest part about doing music so far is deciding on a name for our group. Nothing sounds right or even good. Whatever. We’ll think of something; and even if we don’t, it doesn’t really matter.

Classy Picnic

One of the other things on my past summer list was “have a classy picnic.” So I did. I had found a picnic basket at a garage sale and with some help made plans. The menu consisted of sparkling grape and apple juice, BLT’s, chips and hummus, fruit salad, and pumpkin bars. The perfect atmosphere was completed with classic tunes, a ukulele, old trunks, blanket, vintage styled clothes, birds flying high, and a lovely pond. The outcome = perfection in a day.

They Found Perfection

Like true nerdlets and Hayworths, Alison and Daniel watch Star Trek. Currently this happy couple is hooked on Voyager. Anyway, in Star Trek there is a species called the Borg and this race or collective, as the Borg call it, is on a constant search for perfection and makes all become one mind. Alison and Daniel decided that they are becoming their own collective: One of Two and Two of Two. And they found their perfection.
